About the Church and Pastoral Team

FullFlame Church Joburg West is a church family in Ruimsig, Johannesburg—Word-based, Spirit-filled, multiracial—impacting our city through services, outreaches, and practical love.

Founding Pastors Clinton and Jenine Walsh have served the Lord since youth. Clinton answered a call to ministry in the 1980s while excelling in business and sport, before stepping into full-time ministry. Together they carry a passion for believers to live on fire in the fullness of God’s Word, imparting the Holy Spirit and practical, faith-building teaching. Married since 2001, with two children, they lead and oversee FullFlame Life Church’s and FullFlame Ministries.

Associate Pastors Andrew and Joanne Stark have modelled a lifestyle of faith since 2000 and have served in ministry since 2012. They have three children. They support in overseeing FullFlame Life Churches.

Pastoral Care & Prayer Denice Gerrits has faithfully served the community for over 40 years through prayer, care, and support.

Youth Church Oversight Jorge and Nadine Dos Santos offer oversight and support to our dynamic Youth Church and its leaders, also playing a key role in connecting the main church to the YC through communication and awareness. They have been married since 2002 and have four children of their own.

Youth Church Leader Onkarabetse (Onka) Mogaki leads our dynamic and growing youth ministry.

Membership

Our Growth Track runs in a 3-week rotation every 6–8 weeks after the Sunday service. Each step helps you learn about the ministry, become a member, discover your purpose, grow your leadership, and find a place to serve.

Water baptism

Express your commitment to Christ through baptism—an outward declaration of an inward change. Baptisms take place on the last Sunday of the month in summer.

Youth Church

Teaching and training the next generation of leaders, visionaries, and giants in faith. 

Toddlers (YC) — Ages 18 months–4: Toddlers have fun every Sunday in our dedicated Youth Church building during the main service, where they are learning the Bible in creative and relevant age appropriate ways.

Youth Church (YC) — Ages 4–10: Every Sunday in our dedicated Youth Church building during the main service, children enjoy a safe, exciting environment that teaches the Bible in fun, creative, and relevant ways.

Tweens (YC) — Ages 11–15: Tweens meet every Sunday in our dedicated Youth Church building to explore Biblical answers to real-life questions, discussions and discover the treasures of God’s Word.

Young Adults (YA) — Ages 18–30: Young Adults gather on Sundays especially Sunday nights for socialising, connecting, discipleship, and purpose.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT

Arrive on Sunday and our friendly team will welcome you with a smile and a first-time visitor voucher for coffee or tea. Visit the Info Desk for directions, seating, and kids check-in. Parking is on-site and signposted.

Service time

One Sunday meeting from 9:00am onwards. We begin with vibrant praise and worship, followed by clear, faith-building teaching from God’s Word.

Mothers Room

Parents with little ones (ages 1–18 months) can stay connected via live sound and visuals, with dedicated feeding and baby-changing areas.

 

Toddlers

Parents with toddlers (ages 18 months – 4) can learn the Bible in their own safe class through creative ways.

Youth Church

Kids and tweens enjoy age-specific programmes during the service in a safe, fun environment designed to grow their faith.

 

Young Adults

Our young adults meet Sundays and especially Sunday nights to socialise and grow together in the word.
